Just because it worked before don’t mean it’ll work again! “

That was the first thing that popped into my head if I were to summarize the transits that define the energy of this week. We are being challenged right now in regard to our sense of self and who we are in the world.

In life, we may have always done things a certain way, or believed a certain story about ourselves and our world, but all of that is falling away now, and we are being asked to be open to a new story, new rules, and a new life. It can be scary when maybe those rules and that story has not been written yet.

The stage is being set this summer for that story to be written.

I have spoken to so many people over the past week already who are experiencing deep transformative processes happening within themselves. Things within the mundane world are triggering these deep processes, and everyone is being asked to level up, and in ways that are threatening to the ego and the self we have once grown to find comfort in. This week is not the week to get comfortable. You may feel irritable this week, angry, frustrated, confused and exhausted. You may feel like the Universe does NOT have your back ,and you may be thinking “ why world, why me?”

You are not alone in your feelings, and you are being asked to stop wallowing in your self pity. It's time to level up, and whatever challenges you are facing, big or small, they are giving you that opportunity for growth and healing.

Find gratitude in your resilience when all else seems futile.

The glass may be half empty, but for some it is half full, perception this week is everything.

With the Moon in Libra today, our need for peace and tranquility could be enhanced. We benefit from having a balanced approach to our day and not being emotionally invested in anything going any particular way. We benefit from connecting to the beauty within nature and our surroundings today and we may find ourselves gravitating towards things that stimulate our minds in an intellectual way. We also benefit from connecting with a close friend or partner on subjects of interest to us.

Try to tone it down where you can in your intimate relationships, but channel this drive into your work as that can be beneficial. We learn to see things from new perspectives and we become more open to being vulnerable the criticism of others.

Power struggles and issues with authority characterize this transit and we may find ourselves having a really difficult time with any interactions that challenge our sense of self. We could feel stubborn and unwilling to budge on a belief system we are carrying about ourselves. Both the Sun and Saturn have a relationship to our fathers in our charts, and the signs of Cancer and Capricorn can also bring up issues around our past connection to our families and the structures or institutions we grew up in. We are being asked to go deep and work through these layers of ourselves and how it relates back to our families and what has been ingrained in us at an early age. This may be a painful time for us in hashing out what our relationships to structure, establishment, and family values hold for us in our lives.
