A week of fresh stars, new beginnings and initiative. Mars and Venus conjunct the Sun impregnating the collective consciousness with a stronger sense of duty to moral values. An intense new drive comes online and infuses into the way we seek out pleasure, sex, material possessions, and love. We might feel quite ruthless in the pursuit to attain what it is we want in life with a focus on work and career at the wheel. Many of us will take the first steps of a long term goal whether it is putting pen to paper, organizing the schedule, sending the email, or opening up that account – either way the moves we make this week however small or incremental usher in a positive new approach towards long term success. Mars / Venus conjunction with the Sun on a personal level ushers in a potent new beginning in how we initiate ourselves in business, relationships, and the material world. We last had a close conjunction between the three in August of 2019 in another earth sign Virgo but this time the three are exact! The people, places, and things that we actively move towards this week will have long term effects that will play out over the course of our lives. You don’t have to worry about whether or not you are doing what you need to be doing in order to bring this energy to fruition, just observe where more of your focus and energy goes and what steps you are naturally drawn to take throughout the week as that will highlight how this big conjunction is playing out in your life already. It might be a good idea to write down a list of goals and dreams you have for your life as a whole so that your future self can one day look back on this version of you with awe and immense gratitude.

The quarter moon in Libra at 7:48 am on the 10^th happens to be one of the more stressful days of the week, begging us to question whether or not we are behaving in accordance to our own morals. Issues around law and order, the justice system, what is fair and how we internalize the political atmosphere generate important questions about how we conduct ourselves in business. Libra and Capricorn are not emotional creatures, they worship order in the form of justice. This quarter moon will have us reflecting where in our lives we have allowed our emotional triggers to override moral integrity. We may also be made aware of how unfair a situation is and feel the burning passions of justice begin to ignite; pushing us to take a stand, call something out, or initiate the process for retribution.

The Mars, Venus, Sun trio all oppose Jupiter later in the week causing a necessary negotiation between how we exist in the day to day and our world views / beliefs. It is nearly impossible to live without contradiction in this capitalist age as most all companies and corporations that we rely on for our everyday existence operates from a profit at all cost mindset. We can boycott the ones that pose little to no effect on life with slight discomfort but what about the companies that are interwoven into the fabric of how the country operates? For instance, it is illegal to not have car insurance, home insurance, impossible to exist without a phone so when any one of these companies supports unethical and inhumane practices what do we do? Not paying taxes is technically illegal but is legal as a form of protest, however it requires that a significant amount of the population is in agreeance otherwise we run the risk of being singled out and used as an example to scare off all others from withholding finances to the government. The opposition with Jupiter asks us these moral and philosophical questions that as a society is pertinent to dissect especially now that every dollar paid to the government directly funds the continued empirical expansion in the name of capital gains.

The Moon in Leo trines Chiron today offering up some interpersonal healing through radical self-acceptance and creative experimentation. Reward yourself for taking a stance and unabashedly sharing who you are. There are moments throughout the day when our inner urges feel inappropriate for the time and place, this is merely information that comes into view regarding what it is that we need in order to feel accepted for our true selves. There is no judgment in this but an awareness which can be harnessed for the future. Just when you think your sense of self and personality is fixed, situations arise to teach you more about alternative facets of your being.

Community and friends take on an important role and seeking out their advice or support bridges any sense of loneliness that might ensue via the Libra Moon. The tension from all the Jupiter oppositions are starting to emerge and we might be feeling tension in the collective begin today as well.

Potent energy arises from now until the end of the week as the Jupiter oppositions start to emerge. We are learning to balance multiple truths, beliefs, and conversations all at the same time while navigating what our own truth is. Actions might not align with words all around so staying in the present and making judgments based off of the here and now rather than what if’s and maybes helps to ground the energy. For some it might be best to withhold judgment until a couple of days have passed when more information comes to light as the way in which we are meant to take action isn’t exactly clear right now.

This is a stressful day, I’m not going to lie. The Moon is square the Sun and every single aspect that we are getting hit with are all triggering a forced decision. We may feel pressured to take action, to do or say a certain thing, put our foot down, or choose one side over the other. If you are someone who is quite strong in your own convictions and has a really strong inner sense of self and identity / beliefs, people may be looking to you for leadership. We also could be feeling compelled to finally make those decisions, take action, or move in a specific direction as time is of the essence. Much of the intensity passes through in the early morning hours for us in the US however, so we are beginning to understand the importance of quick action and decisions in hindsight.

The Moon enters Scorpio and Venus squares Chiron, the schism is between the psyche’s need for answers and Venus’s inability to see a reason to compromise. We may be reluctant to compromise our needs, finding that it requires too much of our time and energy while Venus is in Capricorn square Chiron. Logic and black and white thinking override empathic communication which can be an opportune time for those who typically have a hard time advocating for oneself, on the other hand if we are expecting to receive grace in the form of compassion it may be hard to come by. Scorpio Moon is cut throat and with the trine to the North Node the focus is on our own futures and destiny.
