Being able to lay to rest what has been bothering the mind or heart creates space to envision a broader future. What at first might seem like an upset slowly turns into a shift in perspective.

The Moon ingresses into Sagittarius, triggering New Moon themes that will slowly begin to unravel in the next couple of days. The Moon opposes Uranus today creating some distance from the deeper emotions that have been coming up allowing a short window of observation from a higher vantage point.

It’s the New Moon in Sagittarius and it’s time to ride the internal waves of self-discovery. This new lunar cycle brings with it a heavy focus on gaining clarity in love, relationships, and breaking through personal boundaries that were originally set up to safeguard a mending heart. This isn’t the most comfortable New Moon as it squares Saturn and Neptune forcing us to confront hard truths about how we have been self-sabotaging relationships out of fear of intimacy. We may also become more aware of where we had created a fantasy around certain connections in an intricately curated way to avoid taking accountability. There is also an awareness coming into the fore regarding how to resolve pressure around a specific area of life.

The New Moon integration continues with Mercury square the nodes, Sun square Neptune, and Venus square Saturn. This is a day where we must be intentional with how we speak, what we say, and how we say it. The Sun square Neptune is creating a fog around intentions which can cause misunderstandings and projections with the flip of a switch especially since the Moon will meet up with Mars. Some hard lines could be drawn with strong clear boundaries in love and relating. We may also be reassessing financial goals due to feeling frustrated with stalled progress – this could however inspire much needed adjustments in how we spend money. Choosing to see the long term consequences of the choices we make today will build stronger habits and patterns tomorrow.
