In-between two portals The height of the eclipse energy has temporarily waned but is picking back up by the end of the week as we begin to prepare for the Full Moon eclipse in Virgo on March 3rd at 3:36am. There are no planetary ingresses this week however Mercury stations retrograde, and Mars squares Uranus causing events that require reflection and action in the same breath.

What Saturn and Neptune boundary / disillusionment insights have come to light for you? What is it that you are tired of sacrificing yourself for? Saturn Aries harshness realness incoming….

This Saturn / Neptune conjunction hits exactly opposite my Mars in Libra in the 11^th house as well as conjunct my North Node in Aries so I’m having a lot of epiphanies on how I want to engage in intimate relationships. My Mars in Libra has always been a spot of contentious friction for me in maintaining balance and harmony in friendships and relationships. Ever since I can remember I have had a strong inclination to adjust my actions and behaviors around others to offset and manage their emotions, anxieties, and insecurities under the guise that I was being the best friend I could possibly be. By being present and available for anyone and everyone I ended up abandoning myself and fighting internally with resentment that slowly built up from not advocating for my own individual expression and self. But Saturn entering Aries has shifted the tone towards self-reliance for the collective as a whole and I’m noticing myself becoming influenced with that sentiment, to the point where I am now actively learning how to communicate in a loving way that I am not available to co-regulate or step into someone else’s anxiety with them at the expense of my own stability. I know we all need comfort and support from time to time, especially with big life transitions but on the other hand Saturn is marking clear and realistic limits as to what we are able to manage for others. Saturn in Aries is throwing us into a space of hyper independence for better or worse. Notice and also congratulate yourself for taking a matter into your own hands this past week. Wherever Aries is in your chart shows where you will be asserting your own growth over the course of the next 2 years.

Mercury stations retrograde in Pisces at 22°33’ on Wednesday the 25^th. The past retrograde cycle was through the fire element, causing us to reflect on whether or not we were conspiring for or against an ideal future. This year we enter into the water retrogrades starting with Pisces which brings us moments to reflect on our internal emotional patterns and behaviors and whether or not they bring us towards or away connections that matter most. It’s time to excavate the reasons behind where our emotional responses come from. Initially we may find ourselves in emotional states that we thought we had worked through years ago leaving us confused as to where unexpected emotions are coming from. But as the days go by, it becomes more clear that our bodies are still responding to old scenarios as if it is still living in the past.

Synthesis of external views with internal knowing are guided by a period of deep introspection. Reaping the results from lessons that were learned starting on November 19^th, conversations from that period come back up for resolve and we may gain more information that was previously eclipsed from view. From now until March 6^th, when the Mercury / Sun conjunction integrates the wisdom we have been deeply reflecting on, a gentle and quiet bid for clarity is made. It is quite reasonable to experience a period of uncertainty where you may previously had been so sure while Mercury travels back towards the great illuminator. This period requires us to be flexible and forgiving while interacting with others and to especially not adhere to a rigid set of formal interpretations. We will learn quickly with this Mercury rx cycle just how different two people can interpret one shared interaction and walk away with completely different perceptions of the dynamic.

Mars in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus on February 27^th at the 27^th degree. We’ve been through a handful of these fixed Mars / Uranus squares already so the changes that we initiate or the changes that come along our path this week shouldn’t come as a surprise. What is timely about this Mars / Uranus square is that it culminates just days before the eclipse – triggering the event this Eclipse season theme is all about. Mars happens to fall just 1 degree away from the degree point of the New Moon Eclipse from last week. What this means is that on Feb 27^th, the specific actions that we take on that day will directly reflect what this eclipse cycle is shifting for us in our lives. It’s the day that we have a revelatory conversation, take initiation, and make the necessary changes. Venus meets with Mercury retrograde on this day as well, stressing the importance of clarifying terms and meanings. As mentioned above, with all the Pisces influence, it is paramount that we not confuse the meanings of words to mean something that they are not by asking questions and taking the time to fully listen.

On the collective front, tensions begin to rise especially towards the end of the week, potentially creating a call to political action. Mars in collectivist Aquarius square Uranus does reflect events that affect humanity as a whole which can mean that collective frustrations and anger are palpable. Protests, bans, boycotts gain more energy and speed, replacing empathy fatigue with divine rage. Justice is slowly being served in regards to the Epstein trafficking ring with multiple countries opening investigations into the files that had been released documenting global, high powered people participating in crimes against humanity. Norway, the UK, France, Lativa, Lithuania, Poland, Turkey, and Germany have all began to or are in the process of opening criminal cases to investigate the crimes detailed in the files. Can you guess which country has yet to open investigations? Yup, the United States currently has not opened ANY federal investigations. There have been local inquiries but not on a federal level. Curious isn’t it? My hunch is this will come to a head on the eclipse as more governments around the world also become curious as to why the United States is turning a blind eye.

2/23 Monday

The chaotic nature of a Gemini Moon is tempered by Saturn showing how flexibility and adaptability can be a valuable trait for the day. Being able to preserve one’s own sanity while also navigating changing tides is a skillset that we are afforded while the Moon makes favorable contacts with Mercury and Saturn while also navigating sudden shifts through its harder contacts with Mars and Uranus. Preferences and tastes unexpectedly change temporarily or we may be forced to switch up our usual routine out of necessity. Either way, it’s a moment to detach to the outcome and expectations.

2/24 Tuesday

Decisions, decisions. The Moon squares the nodes while trining Pluto, activating an era of infinite possibilities and directions directed by loads of new information. The depth which our curiosity goes is endless, we’re living for the tea while the first quarter moon unearths truths and details that had previously gone unspoken. There’s an insatiable urge to indulge in constant conversation and to press for more details. Just try and remember that not everyone is comfortable with this kind of exposure.

2/25 Wednesday

Mercury stations retrograde in Pisces while the Moon comes up against a square to Saturn and Neptune. Curiosity killed the cat as they say, and once you know something you can’t unknow it. Past conversations drill into our heads leaving us to question and turn over every word and detail from the previous days. During this Mercury rx, we’re learning how to let the information sit without needing to take immediate action. Today can be quite frustrating especially as the Moon enters sensitive Cancer, bringing up old wounds and past hurts that we are trying to find resolution around.

2/26 Thursday

The clouds part and Sunlight shines through offering illumination as to what the next steps are. We feel more in alignment with our needs, finding balance and appropriate ways to self-soothe. We’re feeling optimistic about what’s to come and the future in general. The ego is in sync with the soul, relational contacts feel nurturing rather than draining, and relationships feel like they’re in a good place offering support.

2/27 Friday

Some random and unexpected events crash through altering what we had originally envisioned for ourselves. Potential past romantic or business contacts come back through the grapevine causing a ripple effect in the timeline. Old conversations that were left unfinished have an opportunity to find closure. Today we may be the ones to initiate the contact hoping to make amends, offload some guilt or shame from past actions. Mars square Uranus collectively causes us to change directions, plans, make new choices, adjust behaviors in social dynamics, and push against areas in life where we feel tied down or restricted.

Moon enters Leo opening up the heart space with a creative flare. We’re feeling convicted to open ourselves up today with a confidence that shines through insecurities. The Moon is trine Neptune and Saturn promoting inner strength as the standard. The ability to develop the ego into a new form comes through the act of relinquishing fear and self-doubt. An opportunity to prove ourselves and confront uncertainties with bravery ensues.
